South Warwickshire University Foundation Trust has an exciting opportunity for trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioners (tACP) to join our team in Emergency Medicine. We are seeking experienced and dynamic healthcare professionals including Paramedics, Registered Nurses and Physiotherapists ready to take the next step in their clinical career.
Candidates must possess excellent clinical and leadership skills to enable to them to work as part of the Emergency Department team and be ready to commit to the supported MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice including non-medical prescribing. This full-time role offers a supported 80/20 clinical/academic split. Successful applicants will also benefit from a dedicated Emergency Medicine ACP mentor supported by the Advanced Clinical Practice Lead and EM Consultant. With a focus on continuous development this support will ensure successful applicants can thrive within all four pillars of advanced clinical practice: clinical practice, leadership and management, education and research.

Main duties of the job
The post-holders will exercise advanced clinical skills, levels of judgement, discretion and decision-making in Emergency care, demonstrated through, and supported by, professional portfolio evidence.
You will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary Emergency Medicine team and allied specialties to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the provision of accessible, high-quality Emergency Care at Warwick Hospital.
You will be expected to work towards completion of a full Masters (MSc) qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice. The post-holders will be expected to contribute to the clinical governance, audit, research, training and education agendas within the Emergency Medicine team.
