Clinical Support Worker - Breast Care

Job summary

We are looking for a patient, calm, motivated and enthusiastic support worker to join the Breast Care Nursing Team in the Helen Clark Suite.

The post holder will undertake a variety of duties including the coordination of breast prosthesis fitting clinics and undertaking photography clinics for pre and post-operative patients. The role includes stock management for the department, supporting the reception team as required and being a point of contact for patients contacting the team in support of the breast care nurses.Having a knowledge of Lorenzo, ICE, Evolve and Excel is a benefit but you will be fully supported in your on-going learning and development. A Care Certificate is required for the role but this can be undertaken as part of the Induction process.We look forward to welcoming you to our team.

Main duties of the job

The post holder works under the indirect supervision of the Clinical Nurse Specialist and undertakes tasks and duties delegated by them, providing and maintaining a high standard of patient care. The post holder will work collaboratively with the Breast Care Team and other multi-professional staff to meet the needs of patients following Trust policy and procedures
