Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to lead the Wheelchair Service for Warwickshire. The post requires extensive experience working at a senior Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy clinical level as well as relevant experience in operational and project management.
You will be required to review and develop the service to meet national and local agendas and service improvement skills are a prerequisite. You will also need to be able to demonstrate your talent as a leader.
An ability to analyse and respond to performance targets, promote the sustainability agenda and to be able to provide support and challenge the clinicians is also necessary.
South Warwickshire Foundation Trust supports training and development and will work with the successful candidate to expand their knowledge and grow in their role.
Main duties of the job
To be responsible for effective day to day operational management and service delivery of Warwickshire Wheelchair Service.
To consult and provide specialist knowledge on individual patients and / or the service speciality area.
To lead and implement a defined aspect of clinical governance across the Occupational Therapy, Wheelchair and Community Stroke Services. To ensure the designated areas of responsibility meets the recognised professional standards, agreed therapy pathway and best practice.
