Job summary

We are seeking qualified assistant practitioners in Radiology or 3rd year diagnostic radiography students to join the bank to workacross our Warwick, Stratford Up-on-Avon and Leamington Spa sites.

Modality specific training will provided.

We are the only Outstanding Foundation Trust in the region and undergoing a major equipment upgrade across all Trust sites.

Main duties of the job

The role of the Assistant Practitioner in Diagnostic Imaging is to deliver a high quality and compassionate patient care. The post holder will work as part of a team of Registered Radiographers and Assistant Practitioners promoting good working practices and ensuring good quality care is given to all patients within South Warwickshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Understand and observe the principles of IR(ME)R and participate in QA programmes

To be responsible for clean, tidy working clinical areas and ensure all rooms are equipped and ready to use.
