In this role, you will work with a team of nurses to deliver expert clinical care, education, and support to our patients and carers.
There are 3 key roles within the team which the successful applicant will work within; acute DVT nurse, clinic nurse and service coordinator.
The successful applicant must have excellent IT skills and possess a qualification in clinical assessment (or be willing to undertake this within 18 months of starting).

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be a clinically based practitioner who will take a key role in strengthening the nursing contribution to patients and service users within the speciality across the organisation.
In partnership with the multi-disciplinary team (MDT), the post holder will assist develop, implement and evaluate a seamless specialist anticoagulation service.
Using specialist nursing skills; the post holder contributes to the management of a caseload of patients referred for specialist intervention, care and support taking on the roles of acute nurse, clinic nurse and service coordinator within the anticoagulation department.
The post holder will contribute to the ongoing development of innovative practice, standards of care and strategies to ensure practice development and education for other professionals caring for patients within this speciality.
