Must be able to Work at Both Community Hospitals. This will be Campion Ward at Leamington Rehab (CV346SR) as well as Nicol Unit.
South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a caring, compassionate, highly self-motivated, honest, trustworthy, reliable & enthusiastic Clinical Rehab Support Worker to work on both the Nicol Unit and Campion Ward. The Nicol Unit is based in Stratford-Upon-Avon Hospital, and Campion Ward is located within Leamington Rehab Hospital.
Both wards are GP run, caring for patients who require sub-acute admission prevention, rehabilitation or palliative care.
This new and exciting position is suitable for anyone looking to 'develop' their career as a support worker. You will be part of the multi-disciplinary team and have the ability to work flexibly/autonomously and efficiently with good organisational skills under the guidance of qualified therapists that enable you to work on your own initiative contributing to the smooth running of a very busy department. Your role will be to support and assist healthcare professionals such as nurses, doctors and other integrated professionals in the delivery of quality patient care and the effective rehabilitation of our patients. You also must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be reliable and work well in a team.
Main duties of the job
The Band 3 Clinical Support Worker will undertake high quality, caring and compassionate personal care and associated duties under the direction but not direct supervision of the registered staff and working as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
As a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker (CSW) you make a valuable and important contribution to the delivery of high quality healthcare, supporting the registered professional in the delivery of safe, effective, compassionate patient care.
