Job summary
Applications are invited for an initial 12-month post for maternity leave cover with the possibility of extension, for an experienced speciality doctor in breast surgery at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust. The post would commence 1st August 2025.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be expected to support a range of breast clinics, to be competent to see patients in their own clinics (younger women clinic, family history clinic) and to help in breast theatre / manage breast emergencies.

This is a full-time post of 40 hours per week, attracting 10 PAs. Sessions will include outpatient clinics in both Warwick hospital and Stratford hospital, operating theatre, a multi-disciplinary meeting, and clinical administration. It is expected that a minimum of 8 sessions will be assigned to direct clinical care.
It is expected that the individual will take part in service development projects, audits, and research. It would also help if they had an interest in medical student teaching.
