Job summary

This post will run from Wednesday 6th August 2025 and will end on Tuesday 4th August 2026. Applications from doctors with any Speciality background are welcomed, at either Resident Lower (SHO) or Resident Higher (SpR). There is no requirement to join an on-call rota.

The hours of this post are 9.00 am until 5.00 pm Monday through to Friday.

Main duties of the job

The nature of this post means that you will be working on site at Warwick Hospital every day. The exceptions would be occasional travel to Warwick Medical School and Buckingham Medical School, as well as to NHS Partnership Trusts.

Post-holders will have up to 120 hours per annum (pro-rata) of professional development time which can be used to undertake projects in medical education or arrange clinical experience. Work undertaken during this time will be presented on an annual basis to fellow education fellows and education faculty during the summer term.
