Job summary
South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a caring, compassionate, highly self-motivated, honest, trustworthy, reliable & enthusiastic Clinical Rehab Support Worker to work on the Nicol Unit based at the Stratford upon Avon Hospital. The Nicol unit is a 20-bed GP run ward caring for patients who require sub-acute admission prevention, rehabilitation or palliative care.
This new and exciting position is suitable for anyone looking to 'develop' their career as a Rehabilitation support worker. You will be part of the multi-disciplinary team and have the ability to work flexibly/autonomously and efficiently with good organisational skills under the guidance of qualified therapists that enable you to work on your own initiative contributing to the smooth running of a very busy department. Your role will be to support and assist healthcare professionals such as nurses, doctors and other integrated professionals in the delivery of quality patient care and the effective rehabilitation of our patients. You also must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be reliable and work well in a team.
At interview you will be expected to demonstrate some knowledge of the importance of rehabilitation of our patients although you can expect further training and if successful will have competencies to meet going forward.

Main duties of the job
The Band 3 Clinical Support Worker will undertake high quality, caring and compassionate personal care and associated duties under the direction but not direct supervision of the registered staff and working as part of the multidisciplinary team.
As a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker (CSW) you make a valuable and important contribution to the delivery of high quality healthcare, supporting the registered professional in the delivery of safe, effective, compassionate patient care.
