Job summary

SWFT is currently looking to expand its medical cover in Emergency Medicine to ensure a robust and efficient service in the future. We are seeking applicants keen to work and develop in a busy Emergency Medicine environment that will develop appointees and support them towards a career in Emergency Medicine.

Main duties of the job

The post is an opportunity to work at CT3 level alongside our current middle grades to gain registrar experience. There will always be at least one other middle grade on shift with the CT3 doctor to ensure adequate support.

The Emergency Department attends to over 80,000 patients and provides a full range of facilities including a resuscitation room, dedicated ED X-ray facilities, separate paediatric area within the main department, operating theatre for minor procedures and emergency department ultrasound. ED has the benefit of dedicated access to physiotherapy and occupational therapy.
