To help us do this, we are looking for an experienced Estates Project Manager to support our existing Estates Project Manager.

This is a key position in the SWAST Estates and Facilities Team reporting to the Head of Estates and Facilities; working on anddelivering strategic projects that enable the trust to deliver a futureproof and fit-for-purpose estate.

Main duties of the job

This is an exciting time to join the Trust, to support the Estates team with a number of projects currently in flight and many more upcoming. The role will be responsible for leading and delivering projects as a Project Manager, but also leading design teams as a client's representative tomanage client interests, cost oversight and reporting function as required.

This is a varied role with stakeholder engagement at all levels, both internal and external. The Estates Project Manager will provide solid customer care and insight into how to ensure projects are both kept on track and meet the end user requirements in line with Truststrategy.

The role can be based at either Exeter HQ or our Bristol office.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience of managing multiple projects across multiple sites, from concept through to successful delivery.
  • Experience of successfully managing multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
  • Sound knowledge of contractor management, health and safety, and project management.
  • Excellent communication skills -- confident, empathetic, and able to build productive relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail, good judgment, and a passion for delivering across multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
