Would you like to be part of a developing ARFID Pathway providing consultation, guidance and support to Children/Young People, care givers, health, education and other services involved in a child/young person's care?
This is a permanent role within the ARFID service and requires thinking on your feet and a dynamic attitude to learning and delivering best practice towards tasks.
We are seeking to recruit a qualified, enthusiastic specialist dietitian who is experienced in restricted eating or ARFID in CYP and with a keen interest in neurodivergence / learning disability. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary specialist team with opportunities to engage locally and nationally to bring expert opinion and learning into practice for families and professionals in Cornwall.
The successful applicant will support the multidisciplinary team in delivering the latest evidence based dietetic support to clients, carers and families of children and young people who access the service through workshops and intervention pathways. There will also be a remit to train and support professionals working with children and families who experience ARFID. The team is committed to delivering the highest quality service to enable service users live the life they want.

Main duties of the job
The post-holder will provide specialist dietetic input as part of an MDT to the ARFID service for young people.
This includes specialist dietetic assessment, treatment, planning, training, supervision, development of pathways, implementation and monitoring of outcomes.
The post holder will also provide some dietetic support for other dietitians and contribute to student training and dietetic service development.
Key responsibilities:
Working with the ARFID team to review and continue development of the ARFID pathway.
Planning, evaluating and delivering an evidence-based specialist ARFID dietetic service to families, young people and professionals throughout the county.
Translating specialist knowledge to provide accessible dietetic assessment, formulation and therapy to children and young people with ARFID, together with members of the multi-disciplinary ARFID team.
Liaising with and supporting other services and professionals to implement nutritional recommendations for children and young people with ARFID.
Providing training, clinical leadership and supervision for professionals working with CYP ARFID.
A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this role.
