Never has there been a better time to join Cornwall ADHD team as a Team Manager. The location of this post is flexible although Shaw House has been named initially.
There is an expectation that this new role will enable our clinicians to focus on their work to reduce waits.
You will have support from a larger peer network of CAMHS managers across the broader service. This is a new role to support the operational management of the ADHD service which has recently expanded.
You will be well supported in your career development and provided supportive supervision to aid development within the role.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for leading a team of nurses, therapists, and support staff to develop and deliver a successful ADHD service to serve children, young people, and their families in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
As well as strategic direction and implementation of service developments the Team Manager will be responsible for the line management of staff including supervision, appraisal and continued professional development to ensure the team are operating at the highest of standards and within local and national guidelines.
Overall, the Team Manager will be operationally responsible for the management and provision of quality evidence-based intervention, advice, support and care for our children and young people and their carers.
There is an expectation that the manager will seek to identify areas of improvement through data analysis, turning insights into action and evidencing impact through regular reporting to the Trust, ICB and nationally.
