An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, adaptable and well-motivated Medical Secretary or Team Secretary to join the Adult Learning Disability Service providing secretarial support to Consultant Psychiatrists and their teams. The post holder should demonstrate a caring and sensitive approach to their work.
This role is a full-time position, working Monday - Friday. Hybrid working is available for this position.
Main duties of the job
To provide an efficient and effective Medical Secretary service to a specific Consultant Psychiatrist and their medical team.
The post holder is required to manage their day to day workload and use their initiative without supervision which will require informed judgement, excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise competing demands.
To ensure effective lines of communication between team members, patients, and others, whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times.
