This is an exciting opportunity to join our Podiatry team as a Specialist Musculoskeletal Practitioner. We are looking for a highly motivated, knowledgeable and dedicated professional to enhance over established team.

The post holder will manage a clinical caseload and be required to deliver training and supervision to other staff members and students.

There is also the requirement to be involved with service development in order to ensure to service continues to deliver high standards of evidence based care.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be required to provide comprehensive, highly skilled clinical support to Cornwall Partnership Foundation Trust (CFT) Podiatry Team.

Clinical caseloads will be managed based on experience and clinical supervision will be provided in the agreed CFT Podiatry structure. The successful candidate will be one of three named clinical leads for the Podiatry Musculoskeletal and Biomechanical Assessment Service for CFT Podiatry.

Multi-disciplinary working will be an important aspect of this role to ensure best outcomes for the patient. Mentorship and sharing of best practice with podiatrists and other relevant clinicians will be key to this role, involving patients, carers and support agencies in delivery of care. This post will be responsible for community care planning of podiatry patients and will be required to provide clinical supervision, guidance and support to peers and colleagues.
