Main duties of the job

This key leadership role provides safeguarding expertise to staff across both Trusts and supports the Consultant Nurse for Integrated Safeguarding and Deputy Safeguarding Manager in delivering high-quality safeguarding services.
You will lead a team of adult safeguarding practitioners, providing specialist advice, guidance, supervision, resource management, and training to promote evidence-based, professional practice. Working closely with frontline staff, you will support positive safeguarding practices and ensure consistent, high standards of care.
The role includes working with executive safeguarding leads to monitor performance indicators and ensure policies remain robust and aligned with national, regional, and local guidance. You will also take a leading role in developing, delivering, and evaluating safeguarding adults training, in collaboration with Learning and Development teams and multi-agency partners.
