At CFT we value health promotion through patient empowerment and education, therefore we are currently seeking an enthusiastic podiatrist who has excellent communication and assessment skills to undertake new patient assessments clinics, diabetic foot reviews and will have the opportunity to rotate through wound care, nail surgery and musculoskeletal clinics.
Although, primarily based in a clinical setting, the role will be a blended mix of virtual and face-to-face assessments. The post requires the individual to be a flexible and reliable member of the team demonstrating empathy, resilience and problem solving skills as a clinician.
This post is based in the Central and West areas of Cornwall and is part time 30 hrs a week, Monday to Friday.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to provide a comprehensive, highly skilled clinical support to Cornwall Partnership Foundation Trust Podiatry Team.
This role will provide an opportunity for the successful candidate to experience a full range of podiatry care provision through a blended mix of service delivery both virtual and face-to-face.
Sharing of best practice with podiatrists and other relevant clinicians will be key to this role, as will involve patients, carers and support agencies in delivery of care.
Clinical caseloads will be managed based on experience and clinical supervision will be provided in the agreed CPFT Podiatry structure.
