Job summary
We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic individual focused on ensuring that quality improvement methodology is used to achieve continuous improvement and sustained change in service delivery. The Quality Lead will work collaboratively with the area Governance Business Partner and Head of Integrated Professions. The post holder will be expected to be visible across the Central team bases to proactively champion a culture where quality improvement is embedded in everyone's daily life.
Main duties of the job
To collaborate with senior managers to provide leadership in embedding the delivery of the services Quality Strategy, Quality Account Priorities and Patient Safety Agenda within a culture of continuous quality improvement (QI). The postholder will function as a role model and ensure that quality is a part of daily work.The post holder will:
o Lead a designated portfolio of quality and patient safety within adult community services (ACS)o Identify and undertake a range of audits identified within ACS's audit programme, collaborating closely with the Head of Integrated Professions.o Support clinicians in the delivery of their audit programmes ensuring that identified audits are undertaken and reported ono Continually promote a culture of quality and patient safetyo Work collaboratively with people who use services, listening to what matters to ensure experience-based design is business as usualo Support and lead ACS Quality initiatives as requested / required (i.e., CQUIN's, Quality Account Priority) by Head of Integrated Professions.o Attend/present at all clinical and quality assurance meetings as requiredo Work with ACS Heads of Integrated Professions to identify, spread, and sustain quality initiatives
