Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced administrator to join us, whose primary function will be to support the Penwith Community Rehabilitation Team, and on occasion the wider Penwith integrated Community Team.
The role will include the management of referrals from entry into the team through to discharge and interacting with patients, carers and other health and social acre professionals. Also, inputting to a range of patient and staff electronic systems, monitoring of staff Lone Working and document management.
Support to the team will include supporting staff to manage appointments and diaries, inputting to rosters, monitoring and maintaining registers and databases and ordering of stock and equipment. There is an element of patient facing contact mainly via the telephone but on occasions patients may report to reception and need to be seen.
We are looking for an individual who will support service development projects.
Essential skills and knowledge required for this role include the ability to prioritise and complete tasks to urgent deadlines andto be highly skilled across the range of Microsoft packages.
The successful applicant will be articulate and have a keen eye for detail. Ability to maintain patient and staff confidentiality is an essential aspect of this role.
The ability to travel independently between offices is required.
