The role of the social inclusion worker will be to support our patients with their journey to recovery, by promoting leisure, education and employment while moving towards discharge.
We are looking for someone with good communication skills and the ability to remain calm in stressful and challenging situations. You will be working with a fun and supportive team, so a good sense of humour is definitely an advantage!
Main duties of the job
- Focus on the issues which prevent service users achieving their own personal recovery/ independence.
- To be responsible for actively participating as a key member of the mental health team (and multi-disciplinary team, where appropriate).
- Maintain, develop and evidence your knowledge, skills and competencies at all opportunities while managing a case load as delegated by your supervisor.
