We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist to join our North Cornwall CAMHS team, based in Launceston. We are open to applicants from Clinical Psychologists who feel ready for a Band 8a role, however we are also very happy to consider applicants who wish to consider a Developmental role. Our developmental role posts enable clinicians to start with us in a Band 7 job role, and receive coaching and supervision to enable them to achieve competence as an 8a psychologist over an 18 - 24 month period.
Main duties of the job
To provide a qualified clinical psychology service to children and adolescent and their families with complex psychological problems, across all sectors of care: Proving Highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy at the same time as offering advice and consultation on client's psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to other, non-professional carers, working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.
