An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Administrator, to join our Adult ADHD service in the beautiful county of Cornwall. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, diligent and IT literate administrator to join the team.
Our services provide ADHD assessment and ongoing care to adults with ADHD across the county of Cornwall.
This job is offered as a permanent role at 37.5 hpw and the service requires this to be worked over 5 weekdays, Monday to Friday, part time hours will be considered. The Team is based in The Clays Practice Roche St Austell.
Main duties of the job
This is a new role to provide the necessary administrative support to enable the efficient and effective functioning of The Adult ADHD service.
- Supervision and appraisal of admin within the team
- Provide full administrative support for the Adult ADHD operational Lead and clinicians.
- Provide a consistent effective service to the members of the public and teams members in the context of a diverse and varying workload.
- Ensuring there is adequate admin and clerical resource and cover.

Essential
- RSA III word processing and RSA II audio typing or equivalent
- GCSE English and Maths
- NVQ 4 in Administration or equivalent experience
- Substantial experience working in an office environment with secretarial experience including reception duties
Desirable
- Experience of working within a Health or Social care setting
Skills and Aptitude
Essential
- Effective time management and the ability to prioritise work for self and others
- Excellent organisational and inter-personal skills
Desirable
- Knowledge of Trust's standing financial instructions and policies and procedures.
