This job is now closed
Job summary
We are committed to developing our Clinical/Counselling/Forensic psychologists. Our posts are available at Band 7 (a developmental post) or 8A depending on experience. Relevant support and experience will be provided to ensure that successful newly qualified applicants will be able to transition into an 8A psychology post, after demonstrating significant post-qualifying experience and meeting the requirements. We are looking for those who are innovative, flexible, and passionate about transforming and delivering services that provide trauma-informed, person-centred care in our adult community mental health teams. Our community mental health teams provide care to people aged 18 and above, who are experiencing symptoms of moderate/severe mental health difficulties.
Please note that, whilst working patterns will be flexible and include some remote working, there will be a requirement for the successful applicants to be physically based within team bases in Cornwall for most of the week. If you are applying from out of county, there may be an option to work fully remotely for an initial period to allow you the time to organise relocation to this beautiful part of the world. A relocation package of up to £8,500 is available for discussion.

About us
We're an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We deliver community and hospital-based care to improve people's physical and mental health. We also provide specialist support to people with dementia or a learning disability.
We are a people organisation and people matter to us. As part of the team, you'll help support the health and wellbeing of the people who live and visit this beautiful part of the UK.
Over 4,000 people make up the Trust. This includes doctors, nurses, therapists, plus admin and support staff.
We work in people's homes, in community clinics and bases. Some staff work from one of our 13 community hospitals. Our aspiration is to have great people, provide great care, be a great place to work and a great partner.
Approximately 568,000 people live here. A third of people who live in Cornwall are supported by acute hospital services in Devon. As a result, we also work closely with our partners in Devon. In the summer, and during other holidays lots of people choose to visit the area. This increases the numbers of people who use our services.
