Job summary

Would you want to work in very scenic and spectacular coastline and geography of Cornwall, covering West CAMHS, Kerrier, Redruth, Helston, Falmouth, West Coast of Cornwal those are beautifull beaches, St. Ives, Portreath and Porthtowan with sandy beaches and blue seas.

A golden opportunity has arisen following new post and CAMHS restructure supported by a Consultant and a great team.

Main duties of the job

You will be working with a strong Multi-Disciplinary CAMHS Team with good links to Community Paediatric Services, GPs and Social Services with commitment to high quality responsive and timely service. Thats one of the best teams in CAMHS with friendly team and very friendly consultant.

The post will provide opportunity for research.

Post holder would have opportunity to complete higher training including support with Exams.

The trust has a few research pathways ongoing in addition there are opportunities to bring novel research ideas. There are various workstreams and project groups including care pathways, outcome measurement, and service development.

  • Recognised basic Medical Degree

Desirable

  • Relevant higher degree e.g. MD, PhD, MSc or other additional clinical qualifications MRCPsych
  • Section 12 Approval

Eligibility

Essential

  • Eligible for full registration with the GMC at time of appointment.
  • Evidence of achievement of Foundation competencies by time of appointment in line with GMC standards in Good Medical Practice
  • Evidence of achievement of ST1/CT1 competences in a relevant specialty at time of application and likelihood of achieving ST2/CT2 competences in a relevant specialty by the start date of the post. Eligibility to work in the UK.
