An exciting opportunity has arisen within the specialist medicine directorate. We are inviting a self-motivated, organised individual who has excellent customer service skills and is passionate about patient care, to apply for our respiratory physiology administrator role.
The role is demanding so you must be confident, assertive and have the ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure. You will have good listening and communication skills and be able to deal with people both internally and externally in a sensitive and professional manner. The ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to Trust policies is paramount. Main duties of the job
The main duties of the job are as follows.
- Providing efficient and high quality administrative support to the respiratory physiology sleep service.
- Working in close co-operation with staff and other health professionals and support the clinical teams with organising and booking urgent appointments and to ensure that appropriate patients are seen in the appropriate clinic slots and time frame.
- Ensuring that clinical appointments are booked to capacity via managing cancellation lists, taking phone call enquiries, reminding patients of appointments and general patient correspondence.
