Job summary
Epsom and St Helier Postgraduate Medical Centre (PGMC) offers a comprehensive educational programme for doctors in training as well as activities to support the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) of locally employed doctors (LEDs), medical consultants and General Practitioners (GP).
To provide high-quality administrative and operational support to theIMT andGPTraining Scheme and Primary Care education programmesin accordance withNHS, Trust,KSSand NHS England (London andSoutheast) standards. The post holder will ensure effective coordination of training activities, excellent customer service, andaccuratemaintenance of training records.
Main duties of the job
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative and Programme Support

Provide comprehensive administrative support toIMT andGP TrainingProgrammeDirectors.

Maintainaccuratetraining databases, e-portfolios, and electronic records.

Liaise with NHS England/KSSregardingtrainee allocations and rotations.

Administer GP and Local Faculty Group meetings, including agendas, minutes, and action tracking.

Assistwith the administration of the Single Employer Acute Trust (SEAT) scheme in liaison withMedicalWorkforce.

Coordinate educationalprogrammes, events, and study days including speakers, venues, and catering.

Process invoices and supporttimelypayments in line with Trust financial procedures.
Education and Training Delivery

Support delivery of GP and Primary Care CPDprogrammesin line with national and local guidance.

UpdateGP training information pages on the Trust website.

Coordinate conference and teaching resources, including audiovisual equipment.

Provide technical and administrative support for virtual learning using MS Teams.
Front of House and Customer Service

Manage the electronic room booking system for the Postgraduate Medical Education Centre.

Prepare teaching roomstorequired standards and layouts.

Provide a professional and welcoming front-of-house service to all users.
