Based at: St George's Hospital & Queen Mary's Hospital

A great opportunity has arisen to gain experience working at the Wolfson Neurorehabilitation Centre's level 1 inpatient neurorehabilitation service for people with cognitive, neurobehavioural and functional needs. Main duties of the job

The successful candidate for this post will have doctorate level training in clinical psychology and the Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology (QiCN) or equivalent is desirable. The post-holder will be required to conduct neuropsychological diagnostic assessments, cognitive and neurobehavioural rehabilitation, and work effectively as an interdisciplinary team member to design and deliver bespoke rehabilitation plans. About us

The post-holder will be a member of the Department of Psychological Professions, which includes all psychologists working for the Trust in neuropsychology services across the whole pathway from acute care to the community. Clinical health psychology posts within the department also provide services to chronic pain, renal, haematology, trauma and orthopaedics. Collectively, there is access to guidance and consultation with experts in most areas that impact neuropsychological well-being. The department is committed to research, continuing professional development (e.g. candidates working towards QiCN will be actively supported to obtain the qualification during this post) and career progression. Therefore, we offer rotational opportunities to all our 8a staff group to enable them to gain the breadth of experience necessary to obtain the QiCN. The department has excellent links with St George's Hospital Medical School and the University of Surrey. As a teaching hospital we actively support all staff to contribute to teaching and training in their field of expertise both nationally and internationally.
