Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and dynamic nurse to join our team of Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialists within the Melanoma Skin cancer pathway.
To provide a service within St George's Hospital to patients with Melanoma cancer. The Clinical Nurse Specialist works as part of the multi-professional team, ensuring that this group of patients receives the highest standard of care and support from time of diagnosis and throughoutthe cancer pathway. The post holder will represent the Trust and the Lead Cancer Nurse at all meetings related to the cancer service framework and in particular those pertaining to Melanoma cancer.
Main duties of the job
As a pivotal member of the team you will be passionate about the delivery of a high quality, safe and effective care to St George's cohort of Melanoma Cancer patients. You will meet patients post diagnosis and act as a keyworker for them throughout their entire cancer pathway. This includes patients across the surgical and medical oncology treatment paradigms.
