Main duties of the job
As a Specialist Therapy Technician within the STAR team, you'll play a key role in supporting patient recovery and independence. Using knowledge and skills gained through attainment of competencies and experience you'll assess and treat your own delegated caseload of non-complex patients, delivering prescribed individual exercise programmes and documenting progress in the patient's medical records. You'll also support senior physiotherapists and occupational therapists in joint therapy sessions, contributing to safe and effective rehabilitation plans. Administrative duties include coordinating the delivery of equipment and maintaining accurate records. This is a hands-on, patient-facing role that requires compassion and a team-focused mindset.
