Job summary
We are looking to recruit a porter/housekeeper for the Endoscopy Unit at St George's Hospital. The role will involve transferring patients and instruments to and from the unit and therefore would need to be physically fit for the position. You will be working within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team in a changeable environment. You will need to have an understanding of the special character of an NHS service which is to care for patients and visitors often in pain or distress.
You need to have a good understanding of and an ability to communicate in English.
You will need a good basic knowledge of IT such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and the use of databases.
