Job summary
This is an exciting split role across two distinct services. Two days a week the post holder will provide a qualified clinical psychology service for children and their families seen by the Community Multidisciplinary Feeding Clinic. The main role in this part of the job is to provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy for children living in Wandsworth who have aversive/restrictive eating behaviour related to sensory or behavioural feeding difficulties, or Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID).
One day a week, the post holder will undertakeassessments for ASD in particular the ADI-R (or equivalent) and the ADOS. They will workas part of a wider team and are an essential part of the neurodevelopmental diagnostic pathway MDT.
Main duties of the job
The main role in this part of the job is to provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy for children living in Wandsworth who have aversive/restrictive eating behaviour related to sensory or behavioural feeding difficulties, or Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID). The team supports children, their families and the wider educational community to support and develop safe eating behaviours through multi-disciplinary assessment and intervention.
One day a week, the post holder will provide highly specialist clinical psychologyserviceto children and young people seen within the neurodevelopmental assessment pathways at St George's Hospital.This will involve undertakingscreening assessments, specialist psychological assessment, in particular the ADI-R (or equivalent) and the ADOS.
