Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy London mortuary.
The role is mostly administrative but will involve admitting and releasing deceased from the care of St George's, as well as facilitating viewings for bereaved families.
Main duties of the job
clerical and administrative tasks
accurately maintain mortuary databases and registers
liaising with and assisting bereaved relatives, funeral directors, Coroner's Officer, police, medical staff and other Trusts staff
perform audits, e.g. daily and weekly body audits
deliver or arrange delivery of post mortem samples
