Job summary

The Associate Director of Group Transformation plays a pivotal leadership role within the organisation, responsible for shaping and delivering the Group's transformation agenda.

Working very closely with site transformation programme leads, the postholder will lead gesh-wide transformation programmes aligned to Group strategic objectives, ensuring robust delivery across clinical and corporate services. The key focus of the role will be on initiatives that require a Group-wide approach for delivery or enablement.

Working across St George's, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals and Health Group (gesh), the role requires excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement and programme management capabilities, with a strong emphasis on enabling change across complex systems.

The role will also support the development of an aligned Group-wide transformation plan and ensure effective integration with annual planning cycles.

Main duties of the job

Transformation Programme Leadership: Lead the design and delivery of transformation programmes aligned with strategic objectives across the organisation.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support change initiatives.

Leadership and Team Development: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the transformation team, supporting development and performance.

Governance and Delivery Assurance: Oversee programme governance, ensuring delivery against agreed milestones, financial controls, and risk management.

Values and Continuous Improvement: Promote organisational values and embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout the transformation function.
