Job summary
To ensure all digital images on PACS are appropriately managed prior to reading by image readers (Radiologists, Consultant practitioners and mammography Image interpreters).
The post holder will assist Breast Unit in ensuring that all digital images are collated and recorded accurately prior to being submitted for film reading.
Main duties of the job
- The post holder will assist the Breast Unit in ensuring that all digital images are collated and recorded accurately prior to being submitted for film reading by Radiologists, consultant practitioners and mammography image readers.
- Scanning symptomatic, screening and assessment request forms to ensure all breast imaging examinations are entered on the symptomatic (Soliton) and breast screening national data base (NBSS).
