Job summary
The role involves the initial contact with amputees and their relatives/carers who attend the regional prosthetic rehabilitation department at Queen Mary's Hospital, and to book and manage all the appointments for the Vitali clinic which is the outpatient clinic for this regional prosthetic service
Main duties of the job
The main responsibilities with include:
Greeting patients and coordinating the smooth running of the Vitali clinic
- Answering telephones and managing patient queries
Arranging appointments, preparing electronic medical records for clinics,
- Arranging and managing transport requests and booking interpreters for patients
Working in a small team with flexibility and able to manage change and challenges
