Job summary

We are looking for a full time Admin and Clerical Assistant in Maxillofacial & Dental department at St George's Hospital.

This is a general administration support role, entailing jobs such as reception duties and back of house administration duties for the Maxillofacial & Dental department.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join the maxillofacial and Dental department as an Outpatient Clinic Assistant.

The Clinic Assistant post has a predominantly internal focus. The key duties are as follows:

  • To support the Clinic Manager with operational and administrative issues.
  • Receptioning of outpatient Clinics.
  • To field enquiries in person, via phone and via email, for patients, visitors and staff in relation to the St Georges Outpatient service.

Main duties of the job

  • To assist with any other duties appropriate to the grade as directed by the Clinic Manager, Assistant Service Manager and other relevant Senior Team Leaders.
  • To have responsibility for the Health, Safety and Welfare of self and others and to comply at all times with the requirement of the Health and Safety Regulations.
  • To ensure confidentiality at all times, only releasing confidential information obtained during the course of employment to those acting in an official capacity in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act and its amendments.
