Job summary

The Wolfson outpatient cognitive rehabilitation service, based at Queen Mary's Hospital, Roehampton, provides assessment and rehabilitation forthose with acquired brain injury and other neurological conditions. We are looking to strengthen our team by recruiting a Band 7 Physiotherapist ina 0.5 WTE role.

You will have need to have extensive postgraduate experience in the field of neurology and have a desire to further specialisein this field.

Main duties of the job

The role requires the provision of intensive physiotherapy assessment and treatment (up to 5 days a week) to day patients with a wide range ofdiagnoses including stroke, traumatic brain injury and long term conditions, including functional neurological disorders. This is provided alongsideother members of the IDT in both group and individual treatment sessions. The rehabilitation is provided at the Wolfson NeurorehabilitationCentre, Queen Mary's Hospital and also in via outreach appointments in community settings as necessary, including the patient's home.
