Main duties of the job
Band 5 Scrub Practitioners - ENT / MAX FAX TEAM
- We are looking for enthusiastic staff to come and join our theatre General surgery team at St Georges.
- We are interested in hearing from staff who do have experience in general surgery team and want to enhance their skills in these interesting specialists.
- We do all types of general surgery cases including open, laparoscopic and Robotic cases.
- We have 33 operating theatres between St George's and Queen Mary's Hospitals .

The main duties of this job role include:
- Setting, monitoring and maintaining excellent standards of nursing care in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team.
- Ensuring that nursing procedures are carried out in accordance to Trust's polices.
- As skills and competencies develop, taking charge and actively participating in and contributing to the management of the theatre area or on a regular basis.
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff.
