Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for one hardworking individual to join the Specialist Medicine directorate as a Clinic Coordinator's for the Endoscopy and Day Case procedure unit. This role is split across Queen Mary's Hospital, Roehampton (Monday and Friday) and the Nelson Health Centre (Tuesday and Thursday). This role is 37.5 hours across 4 longer working dyas.The post holder will be responsible for the collection, creation and preparation of clinical notes for all patients seen in the endoscopy and day case units. They will also cover reception duties and other administrative tasks in the admin team. These roles are also patient facing and therefore we are looking for polite, hardworking and proactive individuals.
Main duties of the job
The Clinic Co-ordinator role is essential to ensure the smooth running of the Endoscopy service. The post-holder will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team and have responsibility for providing a high quality administrative and clerical service to the Endoscopy team. The collection and preparation of Endoscopy procedures ensuring notes are collected and in place prior to the patient's procedure.
Receptions duties, patient facing meet and great working closely with the nursing team to ensure patient is seen effectively in a timely fashion. Ensuring all patients are checked in and out in a timely manner and cashing up for the service is up to date. Book patient transport and interpreters to ensure patient is accommodated for their needs. To collect audits as required and any other administration duties relating to Outpatient servicedelivery.
