Job summary
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Band 7 Highly Specialist CRM/EP Cardiac Physiologist .
We are a friendly, education minded department looking to support your continuing development and ongoing CPD. A 15% recruitment and retention premium (RRP) will be added to your basic salary in addition to high cost living allowance (HCA). Opportunities to participate in weekday and weekend waiting list initiative at enhanced rates are also frequent.
You will be required to hold a BSc Cardiac Physiology/Healthcare Science (Cardiology) or AHCS Certificate of PTP Equivalence, and have professional registration with either RCCP, AHCS or HCPC. Postgraduate qualification in either Devices or EP such as BHRS/IBHRE accreditation is essential.
Main duties of the job
To undertake a full range of highly complex and routine invasive and non-invasive cardiac investigations including but not limited to intervention (including on call PPCI service), device follow up and implantation and 3D mapping EP.
You will provide highly specialised input to the delivery of the clinical service and actively contribute to the smooth running of a quality service to our patients.
