Job summary

An exciting opportunity has risen within the Day Surgery Unit at St George's Hospital for a Receptionist to join our friendly welcoming team.

We are currently recruiting for a Full time (37.5 hours)Receptionist within our Day Surgery unit at St Georges hospital. The post holder will be required to work Monday- Friday (potential/occasional Saturdays) working an alternated shift pattern 07:00 to 15:00 or 12:00 to 20:00.

The post holder will be required to cross cover within our Pre-operative Assessment unit within St Georges Hospital when needed. And maybe required to cross cover within our Day surgery unit at Queen Mary's HospitalRoehampton.

Within the day surgery unit we operate on all types of patients and it is the receptionists responsibility to ensure the patient administrative work up is prepared prior to them going in for surgery.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with great communication and organisational skills to join our growing team. And we look forward to welcoming the successful candidate into our busy Day surgery unit.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will support the assistant service manager for ensuring the provision of an efficient, focused administration service and to organise and plan work across the range of administrative functions that underpin the delivery of the Day Surgery unit and POA Willows Unit.
