Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Musculoskeletal Outpatient Department at St George's University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as a Band 6 Specialised Physiotherapist on a 1 year fixed term contract.
The Physiotherapy Department offers excellent experience in the development of musculoskeletal skills.
You will join a musculoskeletal team which consists of 60 staff including eight extended scope practitioners and 3 consultant physiotherapists. The department offers an outstanding learning environment with regular in-service training, study leave opportunities, clinical supervision and close links with St Georges University London.
Main duties of the job
The Trust serves a large local population and is a specialist regional centre for a number of services including plastics and complex orthopedic trauma. This Band 6 post provides experience in GP and Consultant referrals. We work within orthopedics, hands and women's health alongside outpatient clinics.
The service is provided at three main sites, St Georges Hospital Tooting, St Johns Therapy Centre, Clapham Junction and Queen Mary's Hospital, Roehampton. This post includes weekend work on the trauma and orthopaedics rota with compensatory rest days in the week.

- oParticipation in on-call and weekend rota
- oExperience of chronic pain management and knowledge of different approaches in pain management

- oPosture analysis and biomechanical assessment skills
