Band 7 Highly Specialised Physiotherapist - Senior Health30 hours over 7 days
We are currently seeking an experienced physiotherapist to lead our senior health physiotherapy team. This team covers the Elderly Medical wards including the Acute Frailty Unit. You will work alongside an integrated MDT to support timely discharge for patients with long term conditions and complex health needs. Part of your role will be to lead in the effective delivery of the enhanced weekend therapy service. You will supervise and support junior members of the physiotherapy team.
You will be joining the team during an exciting time where a number of service improvement projects are running working with our community partners to improve flow and patient experience. You will also have the opportunity to participate in clinical audits aligned to the Trust objectives.
Main duties of the job
You must have relevant post-graduate experience with relevant clinical experience in senior health. If you are a motivated physiotherapist who is ready to take their clinical skills to the next level and develop management and leadership skills, in a supportive environment then this post is for you. We offer regular supervision, individual performance review and CPD opportunities including clinical leadership programmes.
