Then look no further - we are currently looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic Band 3 Therapy Technician to join our Team!
You would join a Team of Therapy Technicians working with Physiotherapists in an inpatient setting on the wards at St George's Hospital in order to maximise patient's functional independence. The post is rotational and gives the opportunity to work in Cardiothoracic, Critical Care, Medicine and Renal/Surgery. You will also have the opportunity to work with other healthcare professionals such as Occupational Therapists. The role also requires assisting with administrative duties and 'housekeeping' (cleaning / ordering equipment etc)
Main duties of the job
The post is a permanent position with excellent development opportunities, offering annual rotations into different clinical areas. As such we are looking for an individual who is committed both to actively contributing to the service as well as embracing their own personal and professional development.
Applicants need to be flexible, reliable, demonstrate confidence in dealing with the public and possess excellent communication skills. You will need to be able to complete tasks delegated to you as well as have the ability to use your initiative and have excellent interpersonal skills. Good team work skills are essential as well as basic IT skills.
On-the-job training is provided.
