Job summary

Band 2 Health Care Assistants - Departure Lounge

If you are looking to work in a small but friendly and supportive environment, thrive on challenges, and want to make a difference in promoting excellent care, why not apply for our Healthcare Assistant Post. You will support our trained nurses on an acute cardiology ward.

You should possess good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team and to be able to work on your own initiative. A kind, caring, compassionate and professional attitude is essential along with being able to work in a busy environment.

All applicants will be expected to take a literacy and numeracy test. Successful applicants who pass this test will be interviewed on the day.

Main duties of the job

Applicants will be expected to work rotational shifts, covering weekdays, and weekends.

The successful candidates will need to look after people of all ages, be able to provide intimate care to both genders.

The role involves attending patients, record vital signs, check glucose levels, transporting patients from the ward to the department, and support our nursing team.

No previous experience or qualifications are required as we will provide support and training to assist you in developing your skills.
