Job summary
We are looking for a confident and highly capable Programme Manager to join the Renal Development Programme in the St George's, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals and Health Group comprising St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (SGUH) and Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust (ESTH), which includes Sutton Health and Care Partnership and Surrey Downs Health and Care Partnership.
Under the direction of the Deputy Programme Director, the post holder will give managerial leadership to the programme of work forming a co-operative of engagement with key stakeholders, defining a clear strategic direction, setting out plans, project delivery, coordinating redesign and improvement initiatives and supporting implementation of integration. You will be part of a small Renal Development Programme team with significant responsibility and autonomy.
This is a fixed term post for 18 months.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a Programme Manager with a proven track record of leading change and improvement within the NHS, ideally having worked and collaboratively across a healthcare system.We are looking for a candidate with excellent emotional intelligence and personal resilience who is happy to manage competing pressures and demands. You'll have a proactive approach to change and experience working alongside clinical colleagues delivering lasting service improvement.
The post holder will play a leading role in the Renal Development Programme, which will to bring together the two Renal services at SGUH and ESTH, as well as a large-scale build programme delivering a new renal hospital build on the St Georges Hospital site.
