Job summary

The care and management of Urological cancer patients. To provide support and information to the Urological cancer patients in the inpatient & outpatient setting and throughout the patients cancer journey. To provide holistic care and health promotion to the Urology cancer patients. To support the Urology Multi Disciplinary Team. To run Nurse Led Clinics. To lead on service development.

Main duties of the job

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CNS to join our well-established Uro/Oncology CNS team at St Georges University Hospitals. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate nurse with experience in the care and management of the Urological cancer patients and able to run Nurse Led clinics.

You will need to be able to demonstrate an expert level of skill and knowledge in the field of Urology with at least 2 years relevant experience at band 6 or above. This post requires a nurse who not only is an autonomous practitioner but also works well in a team. You are expected to cover cross sites- (SGH and Queen Mary's Roehampton).

Role of the Urology Department: To provide care to patients with benign urological conditions and urological cancer services, provision of outpatient urology services, supporting the Emergency Department and supporting Urology medical teams.
