Band 7 Highly Specialist Physiotherapist STAR Team 12 month secondment - Admission Avoidance
We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join the STAR team (Social Therapies, Assessment and Rehab team) where you will be working in ED, AMU and short stay ward.

Main duties of the job
The STAR team at St Georges University Hospital are looking for a Band 7 Physiotherapist with a minimum of 4 years postgraduate experience.
The team covers ED, AMU and a short stay ward, as well as working collaboratively with our community colleagues.
The successful applicant will have experience in frailty and other acute medical/neurological conditions presenting in a deterioration in their function. This position will give you the opportunity to develop your acute assessment, rehabilitation and discharge planning skills within a supportive environment. Conversely, you will also develop your ability to makesound, autonomous clinical decisions.
The successful candidate will work M-F with one weekend in six as part of a seven-day working rota as well as working late shifts on a rostered basis.
