Job summary

The South West London Critical Care network are looking for a capable individual to take on the role as Network Manager for the network. The network plays a key role to facilitate and improve equity of access, experience and health outcomes for patients requiring ACC service within South West London. The post holder will be employed and based at the network hosting organisation St George's University Hospitals NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will be a collaborative healthcare leader who is used to working in large provider organisations and has proven experience of providing strong leadership and delivering improvement in a healthcare setting.

This is an exciting time to join our team, and this role will be pivotal in driving forward the sustainable change needed to improve our service to patients.

Main duties of the job

  • Providing overall management and leadership of SWL ACCN.
  • Provide strategic direction and advice to SWL ACCN clinical groups and stakeholders.
  • Development and management of robust plans to increase critical care capacity for surge and further permanent expansion of the ACC baseline to be able to meet increasing demand in SWL.
  • Support operational and capacity management of SWL adult Critical Care services to ensure effective clinical flows through provider systems through clinical collaboration and monitoring of activities on a day-to-day basis
  • Support and work closely with Network Clinical Leads and Senior Responsible Officer to provide an efficient, effective, and high-quality adult Critical Care service that complies with ICS, regional and national requirements.
  • Work closely with elective programs to ensure the critical care component of the delivery is addressed and included in relevant categories.
