Job summary
We are looking for a talented individual to join our management accounts function in finance to support one of our prestigious large clinical divisions.
The Role of the Management Accounts section is to deliver Financial Budgetary Reporting and Financial Advice on budgetary control, Cost Reduction, business cases and other finance related issues to the Trust as a whole and on its constituent service areas. Part of this process involves the annual setting of service budgets of approximately £600m for the Trust and the delivery of regular financial reporting on the performance of these budgets to key managers and budget holders
Main duties of the job
The post holder will need to ensure that monthly accruals are routinely raised, reports are produced, variances investigated and managers statements promptly distributed in accordance with Trust procedures. As well as ensure that financial information is provided to budget holders in a timely, accurate and reliable manner. They will also need to investigate routine financial enquiries, providing assistance and advice as required. Additionally the post holder will need to ensure work is completed in a timely manner in accordance with Trust timetables. Finally the post holder will need to support the Divisional and Directorate Finance Managers in the budget setting process.

The trust also provides a nationwide state-of-the-art endoscopy training centre.
